Woodchips
Quality woodchips of uniform size are obtained from the chipping of twigs, virgin wood coming directly from the forest and sawmill waste deriving from chestnut, durmast and resinous essences.
Like all biomass energy sources, woodchips represent an economic and ecological fuel: their consumption and production go hand in hand with natural regeneration.
Woodchips are:
economical: their cost is considerably lower than other fossil fuels;
handy: they can be easily stored in bags and managed also with automatic systems to feed the boilers.
